About Us
The Next Step House is a sober living environment for men. It was established in October of 2000 by Alex Linsky. The location was carefully chosen to provide accessibility to all needed services. Employment and especially 12 step meetings are within close proximity of the house.
In the Spring of 1997, Alex arrived in Florida homeless and strung out. For Alex to have the opportunity to provide a sober living environment is beyond his wildest dreams. It is a direct result of Alex working the steps and not picking up. Alex has remained clean since picking up his first beginner white key tag and has the opportunity to give back what was so freely given to him.
We have our share of up's and down's with men changing their minds about what path to take, but we do have success stories as well. Men have chosen to stay well past their commitment and they are proof that there is hope and that we do recover.
